Marquisha joined the RHC in 2014 originally as a graduate student intern, where she assisted in the administration and operations of the Gateway to Better Health program. She currently serves as Strategic Planning Manager, where she is responsible for the evaluation and reporting requirements of the Gateway program as well as monitoring quality outcomes.

Marquisha earned a Bachelor of Chemistry and a Bachelor of Sociology with a concentration in health in 2013 from Xavier University of Louisiana. She also earned a Master of Public Health concentrating in health management and policy from Saint Louis University’s College for Public Health and Social Justice in 2015. During her time at SLU, Marquisha served as a research assistant focusing on the topic areas of health disparities, social determinants of health, African American men’s health, and long term care. She has presented her research at national conferences such as the American Public Health Association and has participated in the National Association of Health Services Executives’ Everett V. Fox Student Case Competition. She is a member of both APHA and NAHSE.
