
Chief Executive Officer
Angela, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, joined the Regional Health Commission in October of 2007 as a Strategic Planning Associate for the Eastern Region’s Behavioral Health Initiative. Now, Angela serves as the Chief Executive Officer.
Past Work
Prior to joining the Commission, Angela was the Health Initiatives Director for Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls where she worked with African-American churches to develop health ministries and implement health programs to improve the health outcomes of their congregations.
Education and Involvement
Angela earned an MPH from Saint Louis University’s School of Public Health, and is a graduate of the St. Louis Business Diversity Initiative’s Fellows Program. In addition, Angela serves as Co-Chair of the St. Louis Region System of Care, a member of Generate Health’s Board of Directors, a Community Advisory Board member for St. Louis ReCast, and a Steering Committee member for the St. Louis Chapter of National Association of Health Services Executives. Angela is also a recipient of the “Stellar Performer of Healthcare” Award from the St. Louis American Foundation (2013).
