The RHC prioritizes expanding coverage for the uninsured and underinsured, achieving health equity, developing the health care workforce, and addressing social determinants of health.

The Missouri Legislative Session happens each year between the months of January and May. Each legislative cycle, the RHC tracks state actions that could significantly affect health outcomes across the state of Missouri and beyond. The RHC has agreed to prioritize the tracking of such policy changes, report on the legislation’s potential impact on access to and outcomes of care delivery, and help lead advocacy efforts to improve health outcomes and eliminate health disparities. After each legislative session has concluded, the RHC will update the policy tracker to include bills which were signed by the Governor and became law.
