St. Louis Public Radio quoted information shared by RHC CEO Angela Brown and Commissioner Dr. Mati Hlatshwayo Davis this week during a Washington University virtual panel they helped lead focused on COVID-19 and racial equity.

During the panel, Dr. Hlatshwayo Davis expressed concern about low vaccination rates among children in communities of color, as well as the impact of statewide policies that have impeded public health officials’ ability to successfully respond to the pandemic. Angela Brown highlighted access barriers that continue to be experienced by communities of color.
