On May 13th, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch published an article highlighting the voices of St. Louis health leaders as they commented on the St. Louis Board of Aldermen’s unanimous endorsement of a Medicare for All bill. The board passed a resolution backing the idea on a voice vote with no opposition.
St. Louis Regional Health Commission CEO, Angela Brown, spoke in favor of the resolution:
The plan could offer a system that everyone can really access when it’s needed.
