This week, the St. Louis American published an article highlighting that St. Louis is now among the more than 90 cities that have passed resolutions in support of Medicare for All.

Angela Brown, St. Louis Regional Health Commission CEO, was featured in the article:

“Access to health care continues to be a public health crisis. We have developed ‘sick care system’ that prevents our most vulnerable populations from accessing health care until there is an extreme crisis. We recognize it’s time to transform our health care system into a system everyone can access when needed.”

According to Angela, Medicare for All could be the most valid means of ensuring health care coverage and eliminating health disparities in the region.
