The link between voting and health outcomes is complex: individuals from marginalized backgrounds often experience poorer health, and limited access to voting is associated with worse health outcomes. This results in decreased representation of marginalized groups and those with chronic illnesses. Consequently, a cycle emerges where poor health leads to reduced voting, diminished political influence, and policies that overlook the needs of marginalized communities.
