St. Louis City and County undergo redistricting every ten years, the year after each U.S. Census takes place. Make sure to check your ballot this year, as districts were updated across our region in 2021/22! Review a sample ballot and district boundaries for your region here.

As of August 28, 2022, all voters may vote in-person absentee during the two weeks prior to each election. This no excuse needed absentee voting method differs from application-based absentee voting. It means voters can visit specific locations during the two weeks leading up to an election and vote early without providing cause. Follow the simple steps below to make sure you are prepared to vote.

See if you qualify to vote absentee and fill out an absentee request form. You can find your local election authority here.

If you want to vote in person, confirm your polling place ahead of time on the websites for St. Louis City, St. Louis County, or the State of Missouri. Polls are open 6 am – 7pm. If you are in line before the polls close, you can vote!

Remember, you can also vote at visit specific locations during the two weeks leading up to an election and vote early without providing cause, thanks to no excuse absentee voting guidelines established in 2022. See more from St. Louis Public Radio here.
